We had a great day at the Peterborough Holiday Inn Wedding Show today and were taken aback by the numbers of people that were as excited as us about our new Photo to animated Video conversion addition. It received even more attention than our usual wedding video and photography enquiries.

We look forward to receiving photos over the next days and weeks for conversion and if anybody wants to know more, please get in touch.

It was also good to chat to lots of the other wedding suppliers and catch up with them.

Although this is still early days for our Ai photo to video service, we have set up some introductory pricing at £5 for one single 5 second conversion, or £10 for 3 conversions. 10 second clips are £7.50 for a single or £15 for 3. Bulk conversions will reduce the overall cost per photo further. We are still finalising pricing for colourising black and white photos and adding sound, both of which depend on difficulty with each photo, so sending the pic and getting a quote after we've viewed is probably the best way.

INTRODUCING OUR PHOTO TO VIDEO SERVICE.

I have been experimenting with Ai for some months, since writing our first dance and wedding songs with the help of Ai. The success of that led me to dig deeply into Ai video and has resulted in me being able to offer conversions of any age photos into amazing video clips.

It is not just limited to weddings, but to any photos past or present of family, friends, holidays, pets and of course loved ones who have passed. We are also able to add people into other existing photos and then produce a video clip from that photo. Suitable old photos can also be coloured before conversion to video, and even have audio added where appropriate.

Having sophisticated editing facilities, enables us to convert multiple photos, perhaps from a holiday or wedding, into extended multi shot videos that breathe new life into your old memories in an amazing way.

We are starting to be inundated with requests for photo conversions, with the most popular being five second clips from single photos, and are very excited about where this is taking us. We can work from photos sent to us online, or from the originals that we can scan in. The higher the quality of the photo, the better the end result, although the conversion process does usually improve the quality over the original. We would be delighted to discuss further with you and answer any questions that you may have.

2024 was a long year and apart from getting remarried, I have been contemplating what direction I should take for the next few years. I have decided to reduce the level of work that I take on as I have found that I have been having less and less personal time due to the increased complexity of wedding video and photography editing. The high volume of work had also lengthened the delivery times and reduced my enthusiasm. Since cutting down on the numbers of weddings, I have enjoyed them much more and for 2025 I am looking forward to some wonderful weddings and a new found enthusiasm, together with more quality time with my lovely wife Julia.

In addition, we have been searching for something new to inspire both of us, and are very excited to be introducing an entirely new Photo to video service using sophisticated AI software. I will be posting here later today about exactly what we are offering.

Hi all,
Still having email problems and I am pretty angry about it as it is a problem with our hosting company Godaddy. I have no idea how many enquiries we may have lost, but please use the email address that I mentioned in the previous post if you need to email: [email protected].

Changing the subject, I have had a few people asking about equipment we us on a typical 2 shooter video and photography shoot, so have posted a picture of what we take along. As we both take video and stills, there are a wide range of cameras that we use, in addition to the drone when allowed, and the big lights for darker venues or when venue lighting is not sufficient. There are also 4K GoPro cameras for stabilised walk around shots and higher overviews when appropriate. The communication radios are for keeping in contact when we are both in different areas. Everything is shot in 4K for best quality.

Finally, we have a wedding show coming up on the outskirts of Boston on 24th March at the Poachers Hotel. I will be adding a new post with lots of links in the next couple of days.

PROBLEMS WITH OUR INCOMING EMAILS

Just a quick heads up to anybody who has been trying to contact us by email over the last couple of weeks. We are currently having problems with our email server for [email protected] and also [email protected]. Emails have been bounced back to the sender without us receiving them. It's been a long time since I posted here, mainly because it has been a difficult year, not from a weddings point of view, but personally. I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that I am looking forward to having a good year in 2024, the highlight of which will be getting married to my lovely Julia in September.

A great big thank you to all of our wedding couples from 2023 for giving us the opportunity to capture your special day for you. Sandy and I have had a lot of fun working with you and your families and friends and wish you all the very best for the future.

I can't let 2023 go though without remembering Fudge, the much loved dog and little friend whom I shared with Claire. We all miss him badly after he was peacefully put to sleep on December 27th, and he will always be remembered as a loving, loyal and lively little man with a huge personality. ###

I have decided to reduce the number of weddings that we take from now on, as although I love filming them as much as ever, the work involved in editing and processing means that every day can be taken up particularly through the Summer months, leaving little time for our own enjoyment. Having said that, we have been booked by some wonderful couples for this year and next and are really looking forward to working with them. Sandy will remain as my second shooter and Julia will be stepping in from time to time as she is a qualified drone pilot, which will lighten the load for me when drone use is required. After our own wedding Julia will be the principle drone operator from then on. I am looking forward to working with all the new couples and families this coming year, and both sharing and capturing the emotions of your wedding day.
