I’m going to show you today’s world in black and white. Not because things are taking a turn for the worse, but because there is something organic—something deeply sentimental—hidden within monochrome photographs. It is simply something that cannot be captured in colour; it has to be black and white.
Black-and-white photography holds a unique magic; it strips the image of unnecessary distractions, allowing us to focus on the pure essence of the moment. Forgoing colour is not a loss—it is a powerful means of expression that draws attention to emotion, the interplay of light and shadow, texture, and the geometry of the frame.

It was an absolute honour to photograph these future music legends. Many of the talented young people I portrayed that day are planning to dedicate their lives to music and a career on stage. To think that I – Poacher Pictures – had the privilege of capturing some of the very first performance portraits of their lives! I am rooting for your artistic journey. 🇺🇸✨ Capturing a slice of Americana right here in Lincolnshire! 🇬🇧📸I had the absolute honor of photographing the spectacular USA 250th Independence Day celebrations at The Session House in Spalding.The atmosphere was incredible – from the stunning lines of classic American cars contrasting with beautiful British architecture, to the perfect country music soundtrack and relaxed picnic vibes. 🚗🎶🍔
