The best light is often the one you don’t notice.

For this kitchen by KBD Kitchens, I worked entirely with natural light to keep the space honest, its materials, textures, reflections and the way the room actually feels.

No artificial light competing with the architecture. Just the atmosphere of the space, as it is.

One of the biggest challenges on this shoot was photographing the kitchen without letting the island dominate every frame.

The oversized pendant lights also became an important part of the composition, adding character while keeping the focus on the craftsmanship.
The aim of this shoot was to create a portfolio that showcases the quality of KBD's work, proving that great design stands out regardless of the size of the space.
