Another one from yesterdays outing to Lulworth Cove in Dorset.
I simply couldn’t ignore the mist rolling down off the hills.

I actually dragged myself out of bed this morning at 5am to head to Stair Hole, beside Lulworth Cove in Dorset! I did it!
This location has been on my list for a very long time. It felt so good to be out for what turned out to be an amazing sunrise. Couldn't have asked for better conditions...only a gentle breeze, a few clouds, and mist rolling off the Purbeck Hills into the Cove.

Be warned!...you may be spammed by several more images from this shoot over the next few days. As the sun rose higher the light just got better and the colours were amazing.

This was before the clouds really descended on us.
That was the only day we had bad weather that week. Still gorgeous though.

Sooo...it's been a while, hasn't it!
I haven't touched my camera in such a long time, I worried I wouldn't remember how to use it when I went out to the bluebell woods at Micheldever this morning. I'm quite happy with the result 😊

I really enjoyed being out this morning. The last year has made me lazy! For most of it we weren't allowed to go out anywhere, so that made it very easy for me to just stay in bed. It was very tough leaving the house at 4am this morning, when my bed was still so warm and cosy. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt this way, but maybe today was the kick up the derriere I need to get me back out there again,

I'd love to know your thoughts on this image.

Storm Alex has been making it a bit interesting in Cornwall the last couple of days. The waves have been fantastic in St Ives.

It has been a while since I've been out with my camera! Very nearly a year in fact! Extremely busy at work, getting some stuff done at home and the Covid-19 lockdown just all took priority.

But, it felt so good yesterday to take some images again!
I've always had Pedn Vounder beach in Cornwall on my bucket list, but when we arrived there the tide was nearly in so couldn't get down onto it. It'll just mean we have to go back.
