Taking a narrative approach to weddings allows for me to capture the day as it is, and how my couples will remember it, and I have found it’s the absolute best way to tell the story. Photography is about the people, their kin, how they all relate to one another. It’s about the day that they have created to celebrate their love for each other and the special accents that they’ve included. I get to

see couples at their best, and am fortunate enough that I get to document it for them frame by frame and know that these memoirs are now part of their family chronicle and a leaf on their tree. Whether you are planning a gorgeous ballroom affair, or you and your hunny just want to meet at the sea and say your vows, the style of photography you choose should reflect your day.

I always feel a bit nervous before every wedding. But definitely for the first wedding of the year. I was so happy this year it was with a couple I’ve gotten to know so well. This was such a wonderful day.

Hello. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on the grid. I’ve been shooting weddings and moving house, and this one (wo)man band hasn’t had time for IG. It's been a hard year of saying goodbye to people way before their time. A dear friend was laid to rest this past weekend. He worked in boats and leaves behind a big community here in Lymington and all over the world. When Eliot and I moved out to China in 2013 we were greeted by such a warm and welcoming group of people. They became our family. Those carefree years of living out there were some of the best times of our lives. When we moved to the UK, we were so excited to hear our friends Sam and Di were going to join us here. Sammy was a kiwi with a big mouth, and even bigger heart. I took these photos of Sam and Di just before they were married in 2015. She was the love of his life. I'll forever miss his big bear hugs, sailing with him, and drinking beers in the sunshine. Fair winds, Sammy.

It is finally time to celebrate these 2. They booked me at the end of 2018 for a March 2020 wedding - we all know how that went down. It's be rescheduled a couple times, I photographed their legal ceremony last year, and we took these photos, and finally the day has come for their party. Can't wait to document your day tomorrow, Sophie and Steven.
