A few weeks ago I was honoured to be asked back to Hampton Court Palace to provide photography for their Powerplay night performances. The brief required me to shoot discretely during an open performance that I'd not seen before. Due to the nature of the building and the historic artefacts contained within, use of external lighting is expressly forbidden, allowing me use of only the dim ambient lighting and some temporary low power theatrical lighting that had been installed for the production. Despite the challenging conditions, I provided a full album of images from the night and received extremely positive feedback from the client.
