📷 Why I Still Shoot Nikon

I get asked all the time why I still use Nikon DSLRs instead of the latest mirrorless cameras.

The answer is simple.

I know these cameras inside and out. I know how they perform, how they handle challenging lighting, and I trust them—especially in dark venues where getting the shot really matters.

Could I switch to mirrorless? Absolutely. But my current kit still delivers the results my clients expect every single time.

Clients remember the photos and the results—not the gear you shoot with.

That's what matters most.

One of my recent clients sent me this after I delivered their gallery.

They explained that they prefer to keep their family's personal life completely private online, so I won't be sharing photos of them—and I completely respect that. Privacy always comes first.

But they kindly gave me permission to share venue and décor photos, and even better... they left me with words I'll never forget:
