As a newborn photographer, I get a front-row seat to these first chapters - before the world speeds up, before they learn to smile on cue, before they discover socks are optional. This little one doesn’t know it yet, but they are already deeply loved, fiercely protected, and completely in charge (mostly of the sleep schedule).

What I try to photograph isn’t just how tiny they are - though, let’s be honest, those fingers are criminally small - but how this moment feels. The pause. The softness. The wonder of a whole human just beginning their story.

One day, this image will be looked at by someone much bigger, with bigger dreams and a life full of moments. And it will whisper back: You were once this small.

Also, yes, this photo was taken between feeds, burps, and a funny dramatic diaper change. Art is about sacrifice!

Seaside shoots feel grounding. The open horizon, shifting light, and steady rhythm of the waves create space to think and to feel. Beach photography, to me, is about presence - capturing quiet moments where people seem more honest, less confined, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

Oopsie! I almost forgot to share today!
Forest shoots are among my most popular backdrops for family sessions. There’s something magical about the woods that sparks adventure and fun for the little ones, while evoking a sense of home and nostalgia for the grown-ups. Maybe that’s just my perspective, having grown up near the woods! 🌲🍃

Evening all! 🌟 Hope everyone’s New Year was a positive one! 🎉

I’ve made a few resolutions that I plan to stick to! 😂 One is to be more present online with my photography and share my journey and experiences. I’m tackling this with daily goals - aiming for 1 post a day for 30 days! If I can do that, maybe I’ll push for 60 and 90 days too!

Huge thanks for all the wonderful bookings already lined up this year; I have something scheduled every month until September! 😍 This year is shaping up to be a very fun one, yay!
