My story about the wonderful old Greggs Riding School that was in Yoevil for 76 years is told in this show. It seems anyone who rode a horse and lived in Yeovil came across the remarkable Amelia Bennett who was at the stables for all that time.

Guild member Susan Sinclair is inspired by colour, archaeology and the natural world. Susan’s love of colour is clearly evident in “4 Piet’s Sake”, which is in homage to the artist Piet Mondrian. Susan loves the challenge of making these pieces, firing each section separately, before putting the whole thing together with an enamel ‘lip’ around the edge.

Here is the first of many pictures that I have taken of Jamie Darlington who has just recently died. He loved his gypsy wagons and his horses. they will be taking him on his last journey on Saturday to the church in his home village of Merriott. These were 26 years ago

Highly recommended , this is a wonderful show. Very interesting to see how modern day London based artists reacted to the cold wet Blackdowns.
