Today marks the Remembrance Sunday for the ending of WWI. A near 4 and a half year battle which ended on 11/11/1918 and claimed the lives of nearly 1 million British soldiers. At 11am a 2-minute silence will be held to honour these heroes and what they sacrificed to save their country.
