How did I get here?
Interesting and long story I won’t bore you with, but studied and worked in science all my life from school to 2015. I had an incredible time at an incredible institute and was part of truly globe and humanity changing science in that time.
But in 2015, my time was done. After already doing weddings for a bit of pocket money, I decided once I had left (with the encouragement of my amazing wife) to set up a business for it.
And here I am. 11 years later and almost 300 weddings under my belt, I have to say, best decision I have ever made bar getting married and having the kids!
Although very close to buying a Lotus Elise but that’s a long gone now 🤣🤣
Why do I do this? Because it’s the best fun in a job, ever! You get to see happy people be even happier regularly. You get to go to a party all the time. You meet loads of amazing people, I love getting creative. And I like making people happy. Lastly, I get to be my own boss. Scary as it was at the start, I would do it all over again.
I strive to carry on as long as people want me. Yeah, people getting married are getting younger relative to me, but I bring experience, a good vibe, silly demeanour and an organised chaos to help anyone who needs it at weddings. I’ve done it all and want to do more!
