3rd August 2022; Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, Midlands, England on Day 6 of the 2022 Commonwealth Games: Ferdinand Omanyala (KEN) with his arms wide crossing the finish line to win the Gold Medal in the Men's 100m Final in 10.02secs along side Akani Simbine (RSA) who won the Silver Medal in 10.13secs and Yupun Abeykoon (SRI) who won the Bronze Medal in 10.14s.

Europe’s Toughest Mudder 2021, Belvoir Castle, Grantham, England. U.K.
Night of Saturday 14th August 2021.
On behalf of I was commissioned to capture twelve hours of physical endurance and mental toughness from 8:30pm to 8:30am .

Five miles of the toughest challenges you can face and once completed, they go around the course again and again for twelve hours.
Total respect to those taking part in this fantastic night event. Looking forward to seeing this next year.

10,000volts of electricity and water - OUCH 😬⚡️

Participants tackle Obstacle number 9 of 20 - ‘Electric Eel’. Competitors crawl through 20feet of shallow water as they attempt to dodge lots of dangling strands carrying 10,000volts of electricity. One touch and you get zapped and you can hear the loud crack of the electric shock. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t 😬. These images were taken at around 4:00am after competing for a full 8 hours in Europe’s Toughest Mudder 2021, Belvoir Castle, Grantham, England. U.K.

Europe's Toughest Mudder, Belvoir Castle. England. Twelve hours of physical endurance and mental toughness from 8:00pm to 8:00am. Five miles of the toughest challenges you can face and once completed you go around again, and again for the twelve hours. The event returns this Saturday night and I can't wait to be there to capture the action for Epic Action Imagery 🙂

Two years ago today I was called out by the AFP News Agency (Agency France-Presse) to cover an emerging news story in Derbyshire, the Whaley Bridge reservoir dam collapse. The collapse of the dam almost flooded the village of Whaley Bridge and was due to a variety of reasons including heavy rainfall. The dam collapse led to the evacuation of the 1,500 village residents whilst further risk flooding was possible.

To mitigate any further risk of flooding the Royal Air Force were called in using a Chinook Helicopter to place large sand bags to provide additional support to the dam.
