This wedding was 8 years in the making ✨
Tom should have married Lydia in 2018. But a fall from three floors up broke his leg, his arm, his shoulder, and every bone in his face. He was flown to King’s College Hospital, where the trauma team spent weeks putting him back together.
This year, Tom finally got his wedding day. And without anyone telling him, Tom surgeon who saved his life had secretly walked into the church to surprise him.
The moment Tom recognised him, the room changed. They shared a long hug and was beautiful to watch.
Later during Toms speech, he thanked Dr Bentley for saving his life. The whole room gave him a heartfelt standing ovation… There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
I’ve photographed a lot of weddings…I don’t think I’ll forget this one.
