There was something about this day that made me fall in love with wedding photography all over again.

Not because it was about doing things differently for the sake of being different - but because everything felt so completely them.

Their personalities were everywhere. In what they wore, the people they surrounded themselves with, the little details they chose and the way they celebrated. And I got to spend the day watching it all unfold and turning their story into photographs.

I think that’s one of the things I love most about weddings. After all the weddings I’ve photographed, no two have ever really been the same - because no two stories are the same.

Big or tiny. Traditional or alternative. Quiet or wonderfully chaotic.

There is no right way to celebrate love.

Every love deserves its place. Every story deserves to be told. And your wedding should always feel like yours.

From the moment I arrived, this was just the most wonderful day. So much joy, so much laughter and SO much love. The kind of wedding where everyone was simply delighted that these two had found each other 🥹

Kate & Jess did their day their way - and it was wonderful. Confetti flying everywhere, huge bouquets, a police car (of course😂), gorgeous gardens and the dreamiest golden hour ☀️

And that’s exactly how it should be.

I still hear far too often from couples who feel like they somehow have to fit themselves into the wedding industry.

You don’t.

You should never have to fit your love into the wedding industry. The wedding industry should make space for you 🌈

You really don’t need a full day of photography to have a gallery that feels like your wedding 🤍

Jess & Garry kept things beautifully simple - their ceremony, confetti with their favourite people and then some time together wandering around Lincoln.

And when Lincoln gives you the Bail, Steep Hill, cobbled streets and the Cathedral as your backdrop… you really don’t need much else 😍

My micro wedding package is perfect for couples who don’t want full-day coverage, but do want the important bits captured properly.

Your ceremony, a few group photos and confetti if you fancy it, followed by relaxed couples photos afterwards - no disappearing off for hours, no endless posing. Just a little wander together while I capture you being you 🤍

Georgia & Ryan brought their little boy, their dog, laughed their way around The Old Cow Shed and spent the day celebrating exactly as they wanted to.

Those are always my favourite weddings to photograph.

Because years from now, it won’t be about perfect poses. It’ll be about remembering what the day actually felt like.

Happy first anniversary, Amy & Bill 🤍

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since your gorgeous RIVERLANDS | WEDDING VENUE wedding. It was one of those days that just had such a lovely feel to it from start to finish and one I’ll always remember.

Then, just a year later, I got to see you both again to photograph your beautiful new little addition. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how special that is. Being asked back to capture another chapter of your lives is something I’ll never take for granted and it’s honestly one of the things I love most about this job.

Thank you for letting me be a tiny part of so many big moments.
