Rain on your wedding day? I promise, it doesn’t have to be a bad thing ☔️🤍

Michelle & Liam’s gorgeous twilight wedding at Kedleston Country House came with a fair bit of rain… and I’m kind of glad it did.

Clear umbrellas, raindrops, sneaking outside whenever we got the chance and ending the night surrounded by sparklers. Proof that you really don’t need perfect weather to have a lovely wedding day.

So, if the forecast says rain on your wedding day? Don’t panic. We’ll make it work - and you might just end up loving the photos even more ☔️✨

Hi, I’m Robyn, the face behind Real Life by Robyn 👋🏻

I’m a Lincolnshire wedding photographer, midwife, dog lover and live music fan (Scouting for Girls are my absolutely favourite band in the world!) If there’s a dog at your wedding, I’ll almost certainly make friends with them and you’ll usually find me singing along behind the camera once the dance floor gets going! 🤭

I’m based in Lincolnshire but always happy to venture further afield to capture your day, wherever your plans might take you.

Inclusivity is incredibly important to me. Every couple, every kind of love and every way of celebrating is warmly welcomed here. Your wedding should feel completely your own and your photographs should feel like you.

My style is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive - capturing the laughter, little looks, happy tears and wonderfully unplanned moments that make your day yours.

I’ll be there quietly capturing it all, helping when you need me and making sure you never feel as though your wedding day has turned into one long photoshoot.

Wow, what a day! The loveliest couple, the most gorgeous surroundings and a day filled with so much love and laughter.

It was such a pleasure getting to know these two and spending the day with their wonderful family and friends - the kind of people who make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive.

Thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a special day. I loved being a little part of it ❤️

There was something about this day that made me fall in love with wedding photography all over again.

Not because it was about doing things differently for the sake of being different - but because everything felt so completely them.

Their personalities were everywhere. In what they wore, the people they surrounded themselves with, the little details they chose and the way they celebrated. And I got to spend the day watching it all unfold and turning their story into photographs.

I think that’s one of the things I love most about weddings. After all the weddings I’ve photographed, no two have ever really been the same - because no two stories are the same.

Big or tiny. Traditional or alternative. Quiet or wonderfully chaotic.

There is no right way to celebrate love.

Every love deserves its place. Every story deserves to be told. And your wedding should always feel like yours.
