Fell View Slaggyford

We say goodbye to our last guest on Thursday as we have sold Fell View. We are moving to be closer to our family and grandchildren. We’ve had a great five years up here and met some amazing people. It has been a pleasure looking after you and I can honestly say all of our guests have been lovely.
Please check out the lovely ‘The Boat House’, Slaggyford, if you want to stay in Slaggy or maybe treat yourself to the fabulous ‘The Kirkstyle Inn and Sportsman's Rest’ pub.

We will miss this amazing area and its people but an exciting new adventure on the south coast beckons.

This unassuming little church is built from Roman stone, and includes a reused Roman arch from Birdsoswald fort on Hadrians Wall , it can probably claim to be the oldest standing building in Cumbria. Next to it is a former Bastle house which was once the vicarage. Unfortunately the church was locked.
