Today we said goodbye to a special guy.
I remember him phoning me out of the blue. He’d seen and followed Liams photographic journey online and was contacting me to ask if he could set up a go fund me to raise funds to buy Liam a camera.
He did that, organising it from his hospital bed.
Rob Zed Metcalfe bought Liam his camera and taught him how to use it and right there a true friendship was made.
Days after Rob was diagnosed with Sarcoma and his life was changed forever.
Despite that he had time to encourage Liam and be an amazing friend.
His funeral today was a beautiful acknowledgment of a life well lived.
We’ll be out again soon, camera in hand, remembering our friend.

Liam has been on lockdown with me in Grassington since I kidnapped him on mothers day. Today we snook off down to his flat to get the charger for his camera and the macro filters which were part of the kit he bought with the donations from Robs go fund me.

He thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the filters. Here's some of pics he took.

It’s been a tough winter for Liam, we havnt been able to get out much, and now we are on lockdown along with much of the country. We have been out for our allotted constitutional though around our lovely village of Linton.
Have a look at the photos Liam took while we were out. Hope you’re not finding isolation too distressing.
