We have found a couple of before and after photos of the studio that we thought would be nice to share. When Melvin took on the building it needed a lot of work but it transformed into a great studio.😊

A lot of people have been asking about me (Michelle) taking over the studio so I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know that I won't be continuing the business. There are a few reasons why but I don't want to get too emotional about it.😅 Ultimately times change, people change and I need to do something new. I feel as if I have come to the end of my creative ability at the studio and that I want to take my photography in a new direction.

In the meantime and alongside any photography work, we (myself and Melvin) will be offering portfolio reviews and mentoring/coaching on all aspects of studio photography that involves babies and families. We are still working out the details but will post more once we have things up and running. There is a lot to look forward to and I feel excited about this new chapter.😊

⭐️BIG ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️

Melvin is retiring after 36 years at his studio in Park Road. It has been a very difficult decision for Melvin to make as he still very much enjoys taking photographs. However it is time for him to step back and spend more time with his wife Lorraine and to take life a bit slower.

This is your last chance to have your portraits taken by Melvin so don't delay booking as you only have until the 29th July 2023. Also, if you have any outstanding orders please get in touch asap as we will not be able to keep everything.

There will be further posts/photographs reminiscing about the 'Good Old Days'. It is hard to believe that a session used to be taken in 15 shots on a roll of film, never knowing the results until the film was developed!

Thank you to all our wonderful customers that have supported us over the years. We hope that your photographs will always be treasured. ❤️
