Yesterday’s wedding with Jacqui & Tom was one for the books! 🧡🩷💚💛🩵
Storm Dave tried to steal the spotlight with some WILD winds, but nothing could shake the vibe these two created. From colourful details everywhere you looked to the most relaxed, joy-filled atmosphere — this day was all about laughter, love, and just going with it.
We had dancing flower girls, smoky BBQ goodness, windswept moments that somehow made everything even more magical, and a couple who took it all in stride like absolute pros.
Jacqui & Tom — your energy is infectious, your love is effortless, and your day was unforgettable.

If this image was taken now, you would naturally assume it was made using A.I...but this was ten years ago!!

Ten years ago I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding of Laura and Adam at Plaish Park Farm, and it was the most perfect Summer's day. We went for a walk under that incredible sunset sky after a mix of sunshine and rain creating those gorgeous colours. I'll never forget running too the other side of the lake, and seeing the swans glide in perfect symmetry to the middle of the frame, shouting something along the lines of,
"Oh my God, you guy's aren't gonna believe this!" 🪿🪿🪿🪿🪿🪿

I must admit it's still one of my all time favourite photographs all these years later!

Doorways and couple portraits were just made for each other. ✨
The perfect frame for the perfect print-worthy wedding photograph. I couldnt count how many times I have used this stunning secret door in the garden at Walcot Hall with it's Wysteria vines, colour pop, and steps leading up.

Genuine moments - no slop here! 💪

As a photographer for the last 14 years who prides herself on capturing the real moments for your future selves to look back on and enjoy, I have found the rise of fake imagery and writing so depressing.
All we can do is stick to our guns and hope that the people who genuinely want to the real photographs book us. But it's getting really really hard now.

Thank you to the real couples - who choose real life, real history, instead of a fake version. You rock.

The Chapel at Walcot Hall is a photo must-have at this stunning South Shropshire country house venue. I know I shouldn't have favourites, but it really is one of my all-time greats for shooting weddings!

The Chapel is a cosy, secluded accommodation nestled within the arboretum at Walcot. Just a couple of miles from Bishops Castle in the village of Lydbury North, Walcot Hall is such a special place full of quirky charm amongst the splendour of a grand house. The possibilities for couple photographs here are endless.
