From behind the lens to in front of it, I'm thrilled to announce my own happily ever after! Sophie, you make every moment magical, and I can't wait to capture a lifetime of memories with you. As a wedding photographer, I've always been on the other side of the camera, witnessing and documenting love stories. Now, I'm stepping into my own, and it's an incredible feeling! Here's to forever, and to all the couples out there embarking on their own beautiful journeys. Let's celebrate love! ✨️
I knew recreating our very first date—from exploring Conway Castle and grabbing lunch to heading to Aber Falls—was the perfect way to propose. Just like the first time, we walked up to the waterfall, but this time, I was ready to ask a life-changing question. On that same rock in the middle of the water, with the waterfall as our backdrop, I asked her to marry me. Little did she know, while we were busy making a new memory, I had secretly arranged for one of my photographers, Elle, to be there in disguise, capturing the whole moment for us.
I spend my life watching other people's love stories unfold, so I genuinely thought this would be a piece of cake... how wrong I was! I was bricking it, sweat pouring off my head the whole walk (luckily it was hot, so I blamed it on that ). When we approached the waterfall, my whole body started to shake, leading Sophie to ask me what on earth was wrong. Thankfully, I had my drone on my back, so I just blamed it on being scared of dropping that in the water... she didn't buy it. But here we are, happy, engaged, and taking our first steps toward spending the rest of our lives together, just the same as all our clients. ❤️
A Special Thanks
A huge shoutout to Gough Photography for making the three-hour drive to Aber Falls in the blistering heat and traffic, hiking 40 minutes to the waterfall, and capturing our special moment in disguise. We're so grateful for the beautiful photos and mini-shoot afterwards!
