Having a reorganise of my lightroom catalogue I like to either re edit images or take another look to see what i could potentially do differently. This is one of those images, ended up just going for a tighter crop to reduce the negative space at the top and bottom and quite happy with it.

Taken a couple of years ago from the top of Pen Yr Ole Wen. Managed to get to the summit just in time for sunset, caked in cloud but with some wind the clouds were moving quickly. After about 10 minutes the clouds parted to reveal the glory that is the Ogwen Valley. Absolutely stunning!

That feeling when the first light hits the peaks, cutting through the morning mist makes the early morning start worth it. The silence out here, broken only by the wind and the occasional sheep,
is pure magic. It's not always easv - the wind bites, and the wait for the perfect light can be chilly - but moments like this are why we chase that golden light. What an absolute morning

Having wanted to capture this shot for a long time i finally for the window to shoot it towards the back end of last years milkyway season. After a couple of clear nights and a mid week road trip to mid wales, it was time to head to Snowdonia for some milkyway goodness! Such an awesome experience to be out shooting this in such a beautiful location
