There’s something about black and white photography that captures truth in its purest form — no distractions, just emotion, connection, and light.
This image is one that means so much to me. My beautiful daughter and her amazing boyfriend, two young souls who have found such joy and kindness in each other. Watching them together reminds me how powerful genuine care can be, no matter how young or new.

He’s a truly wonderful boy — respectful, funny, and full of warmth. The way he makes her laugh, the way they support one another… it fills my heart with so much gratitude. He’s brought so much happiness into her life, and in turn, she’s done the same for him. Seeing them both grow and navigate these years with such grace and positivity makes me so proud.

As a mum, and as a photographer, moments like this are priceless — unposed, real, full of feeling. A small glimpse of a bond that’s brought joy not only to them, but to all of us lucky enough to watch it unfold.

So thankful for the light he’s brought into our lives. So proud of the young woman she’s becoming — strong, kind, and endlessly full of love. ❤️🖤

Funny old world we live in…
Some very odd person decided to steal my pumpkin setup from the field behind the woods where I’ve been working all weekend. They took the whole lot — a wooden crate, autumn garland, two large pumpkins, one medium, and three little ones.
I’ve been doing this for years — photographing families in the woods and finishing up in the fields with a cute, seasonal setup. But today, someone strange (and perhaps a bit desperate) chose to help themselves. Honestly, I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for them.
I’ll be setting up another display for my upcoming shoots, but this time I’ll be packing it back into my car after each session.
Sorry to my lovely customers who missed out today — I hope the chocolate and sweets helped make up for it! 🎃
