Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Powis! 🤍

Kelly and Shane tied the knot yesterday at the beautiful Reading Room in Alby, surrounded by family, friends and plenty of love.

It was such a lovely day to photograph, from the ceremony and confetti through to a wander out into the fields for a few quieter moments together. We were even treated to some gorgeous light later in the day.

A huge congratulations to you both, and wishing you a lifetime of happiness together. 🥂

Ad | SmallRig sent me the S70 in exchange for making this video.

I’ve had the SmallRig S70 for a couple of weeks now and have been trying it across a few different setups, including my Canon R6 Mark II, phone and Insta360 Ace Pro 2.

The thing I’ve appreciated most is just how small and straightforward it is. The transmitters are really discreet, the charging case keeps everything together, and it’s incredibly quick to get up and running.

I’ll be doing a more detailed long-form review once I’ve had a bit more time with it, but for everyday content creation, it’s been a really handy little setup.

A few photos from this evening’s partial solar eclipse in Sheringham.

What I really liked was seeing how many people had come out to watch it. The boating lake and surrounding area had a proper little crowd, with everyone stopping for a while and looking up at the same thing.

One of my favourite details was actually on the ground. The tiny gaps in things like hats and other objects acted like pinhole cameras, projecting dozens of little crescent-shaped Suns into the shadows. Such a simple effect, but really cool to see in person.

It might only have been a partial eclipse for us, but it still felt like one of those moments worth stopping for, photographing and remembering.

What an amazing week it’s been for Sheringham Carnival 2026!

As Carnival Week comes to a close, it feels like a good time to look back at one of the biggest moments of the week, the Sheringham Carnival Parade.

The streets were absolutely packed, with brilliant costumes, performers, community groups, music and plenty of familiar faces along the route. It was great to be out there capturing both the photos and video from the evening.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, volunteered, organised events or simply came along and supported Carnival throughout the week. It takes an enormous amount of work to make something like this happen.

What was your highlight of Carnival Week?

Hundreds of little yellow ducks took to the stream today for one of those wonderfully simple Carnival traditions that always draws a crowd.

Plenty of cheering from the banks, a bit of gentle encouragement for the stragglers, and lots of people trying to work out whether they could spot their duck making its way downstream!

What a night for Sheringham.

The town was packed for this year’s Carnival Parade, with brilliant costumes, performances, community groups and plenty of familiar faces making their way through the streets.

It was colourful, slightly chaotic and full of the kind of energy that makes the parade such a highlight of Carnival Week. A huge well done to everyone who took part, helped organise it or came out to support it.

These are just a few of the photos from the evening. You can see the full gallery using the link above.

Sheringham Carnival took a turn in the ring yesterday as Big Top Wrestling Promotions brought a brilliant afternoon of live wrestling to town.

Plenty of drama, big personalities, hard hits and a crowd that was completely invested from start to finish. A great event to photograph, with no shortage of action to capture.
