My birthday visit to Abbotsbury Swannery. Normally the cygnets are predicted to hatch mid-May, but much like myself, there were a few that had hatched early. A rare treat to see them up close without a massive crowd.

Probably one of the best sunset photos I've ever taken. It's almost an artwork.

Of all the photos I took today, I've kept this one for its own post. This Chaffinch jumped down from a tree in front of me, ran over to the curb, and then hid itself behind it. It seems that the dandelion was worth the risk, as it then poked its head up for just a moment to peck at some.

Have a look at some of these! I went out for a walk in the sunset, and the birds seemed to join me.
