Our small team of volunteers completed the set-up of our exhibition this afternoon with just a few minutes to spare. For a small camera club we have continued to see our members improve their skills on a continual basis and it’s pleasing to see images on display this year from newer members. This year also found us in the position that we had submissions from a larger group of members than in previous years which is very positive.
Tomorrow we open the doors and based on comments received this afternoon from members of the public catching a glimpse of the display anyone visiting will be treated to a varied display of images of a high standard.

Just a few days to go before we open the doors to our 10th Anniversary Exhibition which will be hosted by Chapeltown Library in North Sheffield.

2026 is a milestone year for Positive Image CC as it is 10 years since we opened the doors to local photographers who wanted to improve their understanding of photography.

10 years on we have survived many challenges including changes to our venue, covid and maintaining member numbers and recent years has brought about stability and many positives in relation to our activities and visibility.

We continue to maintain our main ethos of developing members skills and understanding of photogrpahy through our practical sessions, in person or online presentations from invited speakers, outings and regular discussions relating to members work and demonstrations on photography techniques.

Between 26th September and 2nd October 2026 a selection of members images will be on display at our club exhibition at Chapeltown library.
