ALFIE AND WILLOW.....

Our two most recent visitors to the studio, really were a pleasure to work with, they were so well behaved, but so funny at the same time, Alfie (the Collie), especially so.

Alfie knew how to work the "treats for posing " game to perfection, whilst Willow just took it all in her stride, a natural poseur.

Pandora got some great individual shots of them , but the ones of them together were definitely my favourites from the session.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER......

Three days late, but Happy Birthday Number 5 to Rocky, the son of Wilf.

Those who have been on our workshops will be familiar with Wilf, he's now 12 years old, so it's now Rocky's turn to take centre stage.

So those of you coming on the Water Workshop next Saturday will get to meet him, and he will be featuring prominently in the Heather, and Gundog Workshops as well.

DOUBLE TAKE........

Pandora, and I had the pleasure of a shoot today with Willow the Cocker, and her pal Alfie the Collie, what lovely dogs they were, and both natural models, that were really comfortable in the studio.

We were struck by a more than passing resemblance between Willow, and one of our more familiar models........

As I mentioned , on Saturday I assisted Pandora, with a family photo shoot.

Thought you might like to see a couple of shots from the gallery, the clients were delighted with their pictures.

Just in case anyone maybe interested in a similar kind of shoot, can I just clarify it’s outdoors only, would be a bit of a struggle getting your equine friend into the studio, unless it’s a Shetland pony…..😊

MY LITTLE FIZZ BOMB.......

Spent an hour or so this morning as assistant to Pandora Images Photography, for a shoot involving two adults, two small children, one horse, and three dogs, nowt like a challenge!!!

One of the dogs was a lovely little Springer bitch, that reminded me so much of my old Springer Fizz, small but mighty, so a quick look through the archive, and here is Fizz, on the moor, a long, long time ago .🥰

NEARLY SIX YEARS AGO........

As you can imagine, I now have a back catalogue of thousands of shots, some are mine, most of them are Caro's.

Searching through, looking for a shot, can lead you down a path that you don't emerge from until hours later.

Whilst I was looking for a shot for W litters birthday, came across this one, and it made me sad, but it also made me smile, as I remembered the fun we had that day with the pups.

It also illustrates just how dangerous dog photography can be, full on unprovoked pack attack........😁😁😁

SIX YEARS LATER..........

So we have another birthday today, Nellie has made it to six, been touch and go at times......

Here she is at four weeks old, and a more recent shot, Nellie can be a complete pain in the arse at times, but at least she's a very nice looking one, and to be fair, she's a very good model.
