Back at last to some astrophotography. Here we have IC 434 - The Horsehead Nebula in Orion. An iconic deep space target and once have been wanting to capture for a while. The image has around 3 hours worth of data and probably 5 hours of processing.

It needs more data still but I am happy with it for a start...

Somewhere in the Lake District. Heavy rain in the distance but still enough sunlight to brighten the fields and island as well as the boats in the local sailing club.

Another photo of contrasts. This time the daisies and field were well lit but the sun behind me however storm clouds were gathering in front of me which provide a dramatic backdrop to the flowers.

Driven past this field a few times and have been meaning to stop and take photo. I love the juxtaposition of the bare ploughed field against the brilliant yellow of the oilseed r**e. Light wasn't perfect however the r**e may not be there next time I drive passed wanted to get a shot banked.
