The Broken Birch 🌳

This photo was from last September in the Peak District just towards the end of autumn with only a few leaves on the trees.

Really like the composition of this photo, I like how the Sunlight is hitting apart of the Silverbirch, as well as the rock face, was waiting for the light for awhile to get the sunlight in the right position. ☀️

Flying over the peaks!

Took this shot back at the start of August at the top of Winnats pass. my plan was to get a cloud inversion, but unfortunately I choose the wrong location. The original location was to go up on Bamford edge, but on my drive I didn’t come across much fog so I decided to drive on to Castleton and then decided to go up Winnats pass as I got onto the tops and took some shots. I could see in the distance, the amount of cloud in the valley at Bamford rising very high and throughout the sunrise. I always do this Wish I stuck to the original plan. 😂

I'm back posting again. I haven't posted in a while, due to being really busy with the companies.

This post was from the start of August at the start of the heather blooming. This is a local location to me; I’m always trying to find a nice composition and I think I’ve found it with this one. Ive got two versions of this composition, let me know which one you prefer?

I like how the curved edges on the nearest rock start the composition off by drawing your eyes through the scene to the rock in the background as well with the composition having the angles of the landscape and the lighting on the heather and ferns. Lighting is key in landscape photography! It’s all about composition, patience, and timing! Scout your location, find the ideal frame, and wait for the right lighting. And don’t forget the weather! Dramatic clouds or clear skies can make or break your shot. 🌅⛅

I took this photo a couple of months ago, and when I was looking through my photos I thought that this was unusable and couldn’t find the right edit. I forgot about it and came across it in my folders so I decided to re-edited it. So I would recommend leaving your photos and coming back, even if you are happy with your edit always best to give your eyes and mind a rest! 🧠
