Five years ago today, the first confirmed COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK. It was the beginning of something none of us could have fully imagined—a global event that reshaped our lives, our cities, and the way we connect.
Now, traces of that time still linger, fading into the streets beneath our feet. The social distancing stickers, once urgent instructions, are now weathered remnants—ghosts of a collective experience.
Covidity: Five Years Later is my latest photography project, exploring these quiet but powerful markers of the pandemic era. The images reflect on memory, loss, and how history embeds itself in our everyday spaces. Do you still notice these reminders around you? What small traces of lockdown remain in your world?
