A short trip to Midlothian this morning, despite the heavy rain and waterlogged conditions... competitors in the Heavy Horse class working the fields on Day One of the 62nd Scottish Ploughing Championships being held on Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th October at Whitburgh Farms, Pathhead, Midlothian.
Wet ground and competitors here in CLASS 12 – Horse Broken Furrow.

The sunshine and the start of the autumnal colours in the grounds; a little overcast to start, but the sun appeared and the clouds cleared- the start of a few weeks of chasing the light and looking for images.
Captured using the Fujifilm X-H2, using the Fujifilm Velvia colour profile, and the wonderful Fujinon lenses.
