I left school and joined the Royal Navy and completed 23 years service and at the ripe old age of 40 was pensioned off, During my service I visited lots of interesting places and I just wish digital photography was around during those times. s chauffeur and toured UK and found some lovely places for photographs, I then went to work at Gatwick Airport. For our 25th Wedding anniversary my wife bought me a Canon EOS 300D and with the lenses that I had from our Canon film camera's I was like a kid with a new toy, we spent our anniversary in New Hampshire at the time of the fall and my wife loved the camera so much we purchased a Canon EOS 350D on return from the states, which because it has a small grip she finds ideal. After about 2 years I wanted to upgrade to the 20D and once the money was saved I could not find one so opted for the 30D which is a brilliant camera and I am over the moon with it, we have now both upgraded our camera's my wife now has a 400D and I have a 50D we have now upgraded again me with the 80D and my wife with the 77D camera, I like to take all types of photographs as I hope my Gallery shows.
