These images consist of many hours of subs, stacked one upon the other, and edited to enhance the data as much as possible. These were all taken on a Dwarf 3 digital telescope which has made possible what could only be ‘reached’ by many £’000’s of kit to some that now costs around £400. And it’s for this reason that I think it well deserves its status as budget. .

My second attempt at Orion with the Dwarf 3. Much better.

Only about 30min of data due to wall to wall clouds rolling in !🤬 was aiming for 3hrs!

Settings :

EQ Mode, dual band filter
30s subs, with 60 gain
Stacked in house software, and the resulting output edited lightly on iPhone using iPhone software.

Reprocessed data from 2022. Image taken pointing back towards Parkdean Caravan park looking towards Ventnor, but creating lots of light pollution. 18 images stacked in sequator. No darks, lights, bias etc. no separate foreground shot.

Not getting much chance to get out with camera much, bit managed these with my iPhone last week. Fingers crossed I get the weather/conditions in Crete in a weeks time. Taking the star tracker in the hope of getting some Milky Way images.

St Catherine’s lighthouse on IOW. This is stacked image. Taken in August 2022, I’m hoping to return this year to improve this image.

My plan is to shoot the MW separately using the MSM tracker, shoot the lighthouse separately and replace the sky in that image with the tracked version. Watch this space..

Taken with un-modified Cannon 6D mounted on a tripod with 200mm lens at full extension. This was 15 images stacked.
