Not every photoshoot comes with perfect lighting… and this one definitely tested me.

Working in full August sunshine made the lighting particularly challenging, but sometimes the most difficult conditions can create the most beautiful results.

For this Western-themed shoot, we embraced the strong natural light, worked with the shadows, and let those rich, vibrant colours shine through.

The end result? A bold, colourful collection of images that brought the whole Western theme to life — and made all those lighting challenges completely worthwhile.

I love how a little creativity, patience, and working with what you have can turn challenging conditions into something really special. 📸✨

What better way to celebrate the beautiful bond between a mother and her daughter than with a photoshoot on their family farm?

Their love, laughter, and connection were truly infectious. Surrounded by the warmth in the air on a spring day and the beauty of the countryside, it perfectly captured the joy they share.

Watching them confidently interact with the horses and chickens was so special. The little girl, completely at ease in her farm surroundings, explores with curiosity and fearlessness, reflecting the innocence of childhood and the wonderful freedom that comes with growing up close to nature.

It was such a pleasure to capture these memories for them. Their matching outfits added the perfect finishing touch, creating timeless, beautifully styled images that they can treasure for years to come. A truly wonderful session. 🤍

There is something magical about maternity photography.

It's a celebration of new life, unconditional love, and the beautiful bond between mother and baby.

The golden evening light makes each image even more enchanting. As the light changes, we get a dreamy glow, the haze of the sun.

After plenty of training, socialising, and working through some unwanted behaviours, I think this little fella has finally found his happy place. 🐾

✨ He still has the odd issue with a few dogs, but for the most part, he’s getting along brilliantly with many of them.
✨ Davey loves a cuddle and will happily burrow himself into the comfiest blankets he can find.
✨ He can be stubborn at times, but he always stays close — and it’s so rewarding to see all the hard work paying off.
✨ These photos perfectly capture his happiness and his life as a thoroughly pampered pooch. 😍
✨ Davey may have little legs, but he runs like an absolute rocket! 🚀
