Always a treat to watch the Junior Drivers in action at the BDS Championships. Sadly I was too busy doubling as a groom to capture the Juniors in the Exercise classes. This album includes the Lucy Smith Junior Driver and the Osbourne 15-17 yrs driving aTraditional Vehicle class (semi finals).

Spent the morning at the East Anglian Shetland Pony Assoc. show held at the World Horse Welfare centre in Norfolk. Well done everyone who competed in the driving classes. Overall champion was Danni Claydon and reserve champion John Snowdon. If you like the photos, please like my page.

Love it or hate, only the brave attempt the water splash. Those with ponies that just hate the splash have an alternative longer route, but not necessarily a slower route.

The fastest 15 competitors over the 4 rounds (2 rounds each) raced against each other for the championship in the Main Arena - very small pony pairs, large pony pairs and singles of all sizes. It was a triumph for 3 young drivers. Melita Powell for Wales won the gold, Laura Priestley for Australia the Silver and Ellis Sheldon for Scotland the bronze (ages 15, 16 and 18).
