Had a fantastic day yesterday down at Campbell Park, I was invited down to capture a few photos of the Saltcoats Victoria F.C. game against Newmains United Community FC where the Vics came away with a 2-0 win. then along to Cafe del grecos for the launch and book signing of 'Play Up Victoria' a book on the history of Saltcoats Victoria Football Club by Mark Alexander Pettigrew.

Thanks very much for inviting me along to capture this, it was great meeting everyone and was fascinating to hear all about the clubs amazing history.

Thank you so much to everyone who made it along to the mini workshop last night. as you all know the weather kind of scuppered any chance of any night sky images with the wall to wall cloud cover the befell us. But, (for me) it was a great night all the same. Just getting out and being able to meet up with some lovely like minded people and learn new things. So thank you all so much for making it a great evening.

And a massive thank you to Duncan who came to the rescue and saved the night with some steel wool which kind of demonstrated the process behind star trail. Thanks very much for that Duncan it was really appreciated!

And thank you so much once again to everyone involved, I really appreciated the opportunity from last night as I learned so much myself from the evening.....

Took a wee drive out to Portencross Castle last night when I seen the stats were showing a red alert for aurora. did get a nice wee burst of activity but it was just as it was starting to get light again. this was approx 02:20am this morning

Would just like to say a massive Thank you to all the guys at Largs Camera Club for being so welcoming and accommodating tonight, Thank you so much for inviting me along to talk about some of my work. it was a hugely enjoyable night and I really do appreciate the opportunity to talk to some amazing photographers about a subject I love so much.

Thank you so much to the guys at Ayrshire Magazine for the lovely feature in this months magazine. It's so surreal reading an article that's about you and about the subject you love so much, but it's surreal in a very pleasant way. it was also really nice seeing my photos of the MissGBAyrshire contestants there too so Thank you so much once again Ayrshire Magazine! and to the guys at Missgbayrshire:)

Was just about to format an SD card and this shot caught my eye so rather than just delete it like I do with thousands of photos every year I thought I might as well post it.

Bit late in the game for a resolution but I will try and delete less and post more photos this year I think, even if it's just for the sake of posting something to keep the page from slipping into irrelevance fans
