As we are approaching the end of the season it must be time for the Frank Sanderson Knock-Out competition.

Always a popular evening, we get to participate in the selection process and narrow down the choices.

Visitors always welcome. The upstairs room at Saltburn Methodist Church in Milton Street.

Wednesday 18th February, we look forward to seeing the results of The North Yorks and South Durham Photographic Association Inter-club competition. Lots of interesting images and inspiration!

Join us at The Methodist Church (in the upstairs room) on Milton Street in Saltburn. 7.30pm start, visitors always welcome.

This coming Wednesday 11th Feb, at Saltburn Photographic Society, we find out results of The Jarvis and Lynn prints competitions.

Both are ‘open’, so no set themes, but one competition focuses on colour, one on monochrome images.

Visitors are welcome to attend. 7pm for a 7.30 start. Refreshments available.

Location - The Methodist Church in Milton Street, Saltburn by the Sea. We are in the upstairs rooms.

Scotland: like all landscape photographers I love visiting Scotland with its dramatic scenery and coastline. There are an infinite number of locations for photography and it's unpredictable weather greatly helps in taking moody photographs. Whilst I have been to the Isle of Harris three times there are quite a few places I've only been to once. I aim to capture the mood and essence of a location and the Outer Hebrides, Nairn and the highlands provide fabulous opportunities for photography.

In 2024 I cruised up the West Coast of Greenland and it was the most spectacular trip that I've ever made. The country is wonderfully varied with coloured houses in remote locations. There are huge glaciers on every mountainside and the icebergs are being belief. I'm looking forward to sharing the beauty of this country with you.

Wednesday 21st January. 7.30pm at the Methodist Church Hall - upstairs room in Milton Street, Saltburn. Results night for the 3rd Monthly club competition which was on the topic of ‘reflections’. Doors open 7pm. Refreshments available. Visitors always welcome.
