Kim and I head out on the bikes for a breakfast ride through the beautiful South Hams — Kim on the Triumph Bonneville and me on the Royal Enfield Bear 650.

Our destination is a new café venue for us, Shilstone House Café. We arrive to find it already busy, which is usually a good sign! Kim goes for the Eggs Benedict, while I opt for the Gardener's Breakfast… with extra sausages, obviously. 🌭😂

While enjoying breakfast, we get chatting to another couple who recommend yet another venue for us to visit. So, naturally, we've already decided that's going to be our next trip!

A relaxed ride, some lovely South Hams lanes, good food and another breakfast venue added to the list.

Well... I said I was only going to have a look, but thanks to a tempting 0% finance offer from Royal Enfield, I've finally taken the plunge and bought a brand-new Bear 650!

In this video, I explain why I bought it, why my Suzuki TL1000S has been taken off the road, my first impressions after riding the Bear, and what I've got planned for it in the future.

What started as a simple ride out for breakfast quickly turned into a full day of motorcycle window shopping!

Kim heads out on her Triumph Bonneville while I'm aboard the BMW R1250GS. Our first stop is Macphersons in Plympton for a well-earned breakfast before having a wander around the showroom. The Royal Enfields are looking particularly tempting... but is there room for yet another bike in the garage?

From there we head over to GT Motorcycles for a quick browse before making our way to Triumph at BMW Ocean. Along the route, we both have a moment when we narrowly avoid what appears to be a suspicious piece of wood in the road!

As if that wasn't enough, I make a completely unplanned decision to head up to Bridge Motorcycles to catch up with a couple of friends and see what's happening there.

Join us for another relaxed day of motorcycles, dealership browsing, biker banter and a few unexpected moments along the way.
