Being still with your horse and just loving them is everything. They bring such a lot of love and joy to our lives and it’s important to slow down and let them know how much they mean to you. Sophie asked me to capture the closeness and stillness they share together and this is one of my favourite images from her shoot. I actually have a lot of favourites from this session honestly, and will be posting a few over the next few days. Thank you for trusting me and for letting me share time with Hugo, he’s incredibly special 🥰🥰🥰

Behind the scenes with Lucy, Norris and Johnny.

A rare clear day after weeks of rain and suddenly it felt like spring had arrived. Fresh air, beautiful light and two very charismatic horses making my job easy.

I cannot wait to see Lucy and her Mum tomorrow for the big reveal of the full collection. ♥️♥️

Some shoots just feel easy from the start.

Chloe wanted photos at home with her two mares, Millie and Wiggy.

They’re completely different characters but both very important in her life, and you can always tell when someone knows their horses that well because nothing is forced.

We went through her wardrobe (and borrowed a few things from her mum), picked bits that worked with the colours around the garden and yard and walked around finding the best locations.

The driveway, the roses, the orchard… which the horses were far more interested in eating than modelling in.

Now the finished pieces are on the walls at home, which is honestly the nicest part. They belong there because that’s where the memories actually happened.
