I’m all about candid photography with a relaxed editorial vibe. Natural, fun and beautifully composed without everything feeling staged.

And it’s not just about the photos. Couples have told me I became the extra person they didn’t know they needed, and somehow ended up a family favourite too.

Honestly, that’s exactly what I want. Someone you feel completely comfortable around, who can calm the chaos, make you laugh and capture your day without making it feel like a photoshoot.

I’m back from holiday and currently in an editing hole. Maybe I need a female version of a “man cave” so I can lock myself away for some peace and quiet 🤣🤣 I’ve already been asked a million times for snacks! I feel like I’ve kept jammy dodgers and party rings in business throughout the summer holidays.

Kids go back to school on Thursday so I’ll be able to focus a lot more and hopefully catch up with the editing pile as fast as I can!

September weddings I’m ready for you but I’m also ready for the BER months too.

Okay, but can we talk about this bubble exit?! 🫧

My first time photographing one and I honestly wasn’t prepared for how good it was. The bubbles, the excitement, everyone cheering and these two absolutely loving every second of it. It made for such a fun way to finish the ceremony and gave me so many moments to capture.

And that pretty much summed up their whole day. They brought the vibes from start to finish, but underneath all the fun was so much genuine emotion.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room during the ceremony. Tissues were being passed around constantly, parents trying to keep it together, grandparents looking so incredibly proud, and siblings absolutely bursting with happiness for them.

You could feel how loved these two are. Their friends and family were completely invested in their day, celebrating every moment with them and making the atmosphere what it was.

And then the dancing started… 😂

I’m genuinely gutted I couldn’t stay for the late night partying because I’ve seen some of the videos from later on and WOW. It was absolutely my kind of night! 🤣 The dance floor looked like it was going off and I definitely would have been right in the middle of it if I could have stayed!

One of those weddings where you leave feeling like you’ve genuinely been welcomed into something really special. So much love, so much personality and a whole lot of fun.

And that bubble exit? Safe to say I’m now a fan. 🫧

I mean… when you have views like this, you just know you’ve made the right choice of venue!

Set amongst the Cheshire countryside, with the lake, rolling hills and gorgeous open views all around, Sandhole Oak Barn really does give you the most incredible backdrop for your wedding day.

And for me, it’s a photographer’s dream. There are so many little pockets around the grounds to disappear off to for those couple portraits, without being miles away from your guests or missing out on the celebrations.

🌴 A little time away…

I’m taking a few days away to properly switch off, slow down and spend some much needed quality time with my family. ❤️

It’s been such a busy few months and, as much as I absolutely love what I do, I’m looking forward to stepping away from work for a little while, enjoying some sunshine (hopefully) and making some memories together.

I’ll be back replying to messages from 31st August, so if you’ve sent me an enquiry or message, please bear with me until I’m back.

I mean, this one was a little special. 🥹

Being asked by one of my ex work colleagues to capture his wedding day honestly meant so much.

It’s a strange but lovely feeling when someone you used to work alongside suddenly becomes one of your couples. I knew him from a completely different chapter of life, so being there years later, camera in hand, to photograph him getting married was something I genuinely didn’t take for granted.

It was lovely catching up, seeing how much life has changed since those work days, and getting to meet the person he’s chosen to spend his life with.

I think that’s one of my favourite things about this job. The people I’ve met along the way don’t just disappear when our paths cross. Sometimes, years later, they come back and trust me with something incredibly important to them.

These are the bookings that remind me just how much I love what I do. Not just because I get to take photographs, but because I get to be there for people I’ve met along the way, at some of the most important moments of their lives.

This one really did mean a lot. ❤️

Sundays wedding at Etruria Hall in Stoke 🤍

A beautiful day filled with the prettiest blue details, a stunning dress hanging from the staircase and so many little moments that made the day completely theirs.

Once we’d captured all the important bits, we took a wander around the gorgeous gardens for some couple portraits. I always love giving my couples that little bit of time away from everyone else. No guests watching, no pressure, just the two of them enjoying a few quiet moments together while I capture it all naturally.

Etruria Hall really is such a beautiful place to photograph, and these two made my job very easy.

One of those weddings where I could have happily stayed all day 🤍

My 5 weddings since last Sunday 😍🥰

Did I mention… I LOVE MY JOB?!

I love my couples. I love the people who share my work, tag me, recommend me to their engaged friends and shout about me to anyone who will listen.

Every comment, every like, every share and every recommendation genuinely helps my little business get seen by more people, and I’m so grateful for every single one.

I will forever be the biggest cheerleader for my couples. So many of my reviews and messages say that by the end of their wedding, I feel like their newfound best friend, and honestly… that means everything to me.

I get excited with you. I get emotional when you read your vows. I’m invested in the little moments, the big moments and everything in between. Every couple means so much to me, and apparently it shows! 🥹

To be fully booked for this year AND next year is honestly unreal. It still blows my mind that I get to call this my job.

So thank you. To every couple who has trusted me, every person who has recommended me, every person who has shared my work and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Sometimes my couples probably think I’ve completely lost the plot…

“Okay, now teeth to teeth.”

The looks I get 😂

But then they do it, start laughing because it feels so ridiculous, and suddenly I’ve got these completely natural moments of them laughing, looking at each other and just being themselves.

And honestly, that’s exactly what I want from your wedding photos.

This wedding was SO much fun. A bouncy castle, a Helter Skelter, colourful details, a gorgeous vintage car, confetti that got everywhere and two people who were completely up for enjoying every second of their day.

Nothing felt too serious, and I loved that.

I’m always going to give you a little direction when you need it, but I don’t want your photos to feel stiff or overly posed. I want the laughter, the movement, the chaos and all those little moments in between.

The moments where you forget I’m even there.

Because yes, I’ll occasionally ask you to put your teeth together and look at me like I’ve lost my mind… but it works 😂

I genuinely think yesterday’s wedding is going to be one of those days the guests talk about for years as many people won’t see it again in their lifetime.

The heat though yesterday was something else. Easily one of the hottest weddings I’ve photographed, but the team at the Manor Hill House were brilliant. Cold flannels were handed out to guests/suppliers and they kept topping us up with drinks throughout the day. When you’re melting behind a camera, VERY appreciated. Honestly the venue and Team were top notch!

Then add in a bouncy castle, magician, lawn games, mini golf and an eclipse and you’ve basically got the ingredients for one seriously memorable wedding day.

There was always something happening, with everyone having fun, getting involved and making the most of the day even with the heat.

When Lauren told me there was going to be an eclipse on their wedding day and that she’d got everyone glasses, I was fully invested.

Every time someone says “eclipse”, my brain goes straight to the Jaffa Cake advert. Obviously I started talking about Jaffa Cakes… and Lauren had absolutely no idea what I was on about. Thankfully Daniel Staniforth knew exactly where my brain had gone because otherwise I’d have looked slightly unhinged 🤣

Please tell me I’m not the only one who remembers it?!
