I was out earlier a drive and noticed what I thought was low cloud in the Mournes.. but then thought it was a fire. Such a beautiful day as well as you can see .. so I stopped off at Minerstown Beach, then on around the coast to Dundrum and it definitely is a fire unfortunately. Seen a few posts online also. Hopefully they can get it under control. 🙏🏼❤️ 🏔️

Edinburgh Castle

I loved this view of Edinburgh Castle as I walked past the Dean Ramsay Memorial and love this beautiful Celtic Cross with the stunning details on it .. it alone with it being 8 metres tall was amazing to look at.

The weather in Edinburgh is pretty much like here at home .. wet and moody, but I think this really compliments the scene.

St John’s Point 🌊🌊🌊

This is a different view of the area and I just loved this structure with the waves crashing around it. Using a slight long exposure to create movement in the waves. The lighthouse is right behind me from where this image was taken.

Stormy seas at St Johns Point Lighthouse. 🌊🌊🌊

This was a really windy day and you can even see the foam coming from the sea water onto the shoreline.

What a stunning area and lighthouse and I have heard about proposals to change the light in the lighthouse to LED.

Dozens of objections have been submitted to a proposed change to the light source at an historic lighthouse at St John’s Point in County Down.
The proposal includes replacing the mercury that makes the light rotate with a low-energy LED alternative.
Campaigners fear that altering the mechanism controlling the rotating light could harm the landmark’s historic character.

It would be nice to keep this historic building as it is. 🙏🏼👌🏼🌅🌊🌊🌊

Calm morning at Killyleagh. 🌅

A beautiful calm morning at Killyleagh. Even though it wasn’t the best sunrise (slight glow in the horizon)… what I did get was a lovely calm morning with hardly a breeze, or ripple in the water creating those amazing reflections.. so calming for the soul being out in nature watching the world awaken.

Followed the sunset yesterday, rather than the snow ⛄️ . A beautiful sunset over Newcastle and the Mourne Mountains , Co Down. There definitely isn’t as much snow in Co Down to the likes of Antrim and the colours in the sky were amazing as the sun started to set 👌🏼❤️🌅
