We had an absolute blast with Sian & Michael yesterday at Mecure St Helens Hotel. We can’t wait to share some of their images very soon.

One of the highlights of the day for us was the crazy wind! Sian’s veil blew off and we ran after it over the car park with cameras swinging!! If only it was filmed 🤣 Great memories.

At Damtoria Photography we’re launching a new series of “Damtoria Tips” — sharing real advice, observations and experiences from the many weddings we’ve had the privilege to photograph over the years.

We’ve seen first-hand how small details can make a huge difference to both the flow of a wedding day and the photographs couples receive afterwards. Our hope is that these tips help couples feel more prepared, relaxed and able to truly enjoy every moment.

Our very first tip focuses on Bridal Preparation and Damian shares some key advice in today’s reel.

From keeping the room tidy and organised, to thinking about timings, lighting and the number of people in the room, a little planning can completely transform the atmosphere of the morning and help create calm, beautiful and natural photographs.

Most importantly, remember that bridal preparation is part of your story — not just the build-up to the ceremony. Enjoy the excitement, laughter and emotion of the morning because those moments often become some of the most treasured memories of the entire day.
