I have had my home studio just under two years now and I would say my style is simplicity and natural photography. My sessions aren't posed with false smiles and awkward poses. They are fun and relaxed and the children get to play just like they do at home this then captures natural interaction and those moments when a child's smile can light up the room. All my clients like this approach and want

to be included in my sessions as they love how natural the images look as it truly captures the bond between the family. There is nothing better than seeing images in a home that shows loving and natural emotions that you can treasure in years to come.

Ghosting.
It’s one part of this job that really gets to me, and I know so many small business owners feel the same.

Like many others, I spend a lot of time replying to enquiries — going back and forth, sharing information, checking availability, offering dates, and doing my best to help someone plan something special. And then… silence. No reply. No “thank you”. Just nothing.

I completely understand that my work won’t be the right fit for everyone. Maybe the style isn’t what you’re looking for, maybe the timing isn’t right, maybe the pricing doesn’t suit your budget. That’s all absolutely okay. Truly.

But what people sometimes forget is that you reached out to us. And behind every small business is a real person, pouring their time, energy, and heart into what they do. A simple message — “Thank you for the information, but I won’t be booking right now” — means more than you realise.

Please don’t ignore the small businesses you enquire with.
We’re humans, working hard on our dreams, and a little kindness goes a long way.

One thing I always ask my families before I share any images is simple: are you happy for me to share these? Your privacy and your wishes will always come first, and I will honour whatever decision feels right for you.

I know not all parents want their child’s face online — and that is completely okay. There are so many beautiful, storytelling ways to capture your little one without ever showing their face. Tiny hands wrapped around yours, curls catching the light, sandy toes on the beach, the way they lean into you when they feel safe… these moments still speak volumes.

Your family, your boundaries, your choice — always.

✨ Back From Half Term & Diving Into a Busy Week ✨

I’m back after a fun‑packed half term — it’s been incredible soaking up time with family and friends, but I think I need a week off to recover… it’s been non‑stop in the best way.

This week is a full one with both studio and location sessions, and I’m also working my way through a long list of beautiful galleries waiting to be edited. Thank you, truly, for keeping me so busy.

Just a little update: my diary is filling up fast for the rest of the year. If you’re considering booking a session, please do reach out soon. I have limited availability over the summer holidays, and — dare I say it — I’ll soon be planning this year’s Christmas sessions.
