Congratulations to Amanda and Martin who got married in the most romantic venue but on the wettest afternoon in May! In spite of following the bury a sausage tradition, the rain started just as Amanda arrived at The Coastguards Lookout at Caerhays and didn't ease for the rest of the day, but this happy couple didn't let it ruin their special moments and the love shone through in their photographs.

Well it's been a tough few months for me, so apologies for the lack of photography posts, but what better way to come back than to wish huge congratulations to Marie and Martin - the new Mr & Mrs Trebell - who were married last Saturday at The Seiner's Arms on the waterfront at Perranporth! It was a beautiful venue and the happy couple didn't stop smiling all day! I've checked with Marie and she's happy for me to share a few sneaky peeks with all of you, so here you go - enjoy!

On this cold and rainy afternoon I've been looking over the latest reviews for my final two weddings of 2025 and what a big smile they brought to my face!
April and Adam, who had such a relaxed and family friendly wedding said: "We 100% recommend Sue for your big day/event. Communication was excellent, Sue was always at the end of an email or phone call in the lead up to our wedding and the photos were absolutely amazing and exactly what we wanted! She made everyone feel at ease and the photos were effortless for the many small people included!"

Then the lovely Kim, my crazy, pink-haired, chicken-loving bride, wrote: "Sue, you don't take enough credit for the work you've done before the wedding, as well as during and after - you're amazing!"

So many kind and positive words, plus I met with another wonderful couple yesterday, who have decided to book me for their 2027 wedding at one of my favourite venues - Trenython Manor - I'm a happy bunny in spite of this weather!

Congratulations to my latest newlyweds, April and Adam, who got married on Monday! It was such a relaxed celebration, with just children, parents and a few close friends but that made it all the more special and everyone had huge smiles on their faces all day long. The couple chose to have their reception at The Seiners Arms, right on the beach at Perranporth, because it's their favourite beach when they come down on holiday and what a gorgeous venue it was, with amazing views and a beautifully decorated room, with plenty of scope for some lovely photographs.

WOW! What an amazing and unique wedding I was lucky enough to capture last Saturday for Kim and Matt at the Hannafore Point Hotel! This couple were a favourite as soon as I saw, written on the photo wish list: "crazy photos - let's just have fun!" They certainly didn't disappoint - for the first time in over 40 years as a wedding photographer, I was asked to catch photos of the bride with ... wait for it ... her pet chicken. We had such fun, so many laughs and the only tears that appeared were tears of happiness during an impromptu speech given by the bride's lovely sister, Tom.
These newlyweds and their family and friends welcomed me into the celebrations with such enthusiasm and kindness that I felt like I'd known them forever, so a big thank you to you all - I absolutely loved being with you and together we've captured some gorgeous shots for you to cherish!

Earlier this week one of my favourite couples celebrated their 7 year Wedding Anniversary. Kerrie and Dill were such a fabulous couple, full of fun and got married at Hannafore near Looe, which is a perfect setting for a photographer to capture those stunning cliff-top shots! Ironically, this coming weekend, I'm lucky enough to be working with another wickedly fun couple, Kim and Matt, at the very same venue! We've had our pre-wedding meet-up, which was hilarious, and Kim has been pinging me lots of messages to keep me updated on their plans - I'm so excited to spend the day with them and their amazing family!
Today's selection is a nostalgic look back to Kerrie and Dill's special day 7 years ago.

No complicated layers of Packages - just Pick'n'Mix!
I feel that the traditional way of charging for wedding photography is a bit of a cheat - let me explain.
By forcing you to choose an all inclusive package your photographer may well be getting paid for bits that you don't really want included. Not everyone wants bridal prep photos, some couples only want a few memories of the ceremony itself captured and many of my newlyweds are more than happy to create their own album, thus saving themselves a little money. However, I know that some customers really do want to go the whole hog and have me capture the full day from prep to first dance, with their photographs presented in a luxury album and a slideshow of their favourites to show family and friends.
Everyone is different and that's perfectly fine with me!
Which is why I've created my Pick'n'Mix pricing system - it does what it says on the tin - just choose the elements of your day that you want captured, then choose any extras and we'll have a great starting point to create your bespoke wedding coverage!

Sue's Mobile Photography doesn't only cover , I also offer a comprehensive commercial imagery service, which often sees me heading off, car packed to overflowing with pots of flowering plants and other dressing props to capture the best side of a holiday let or a newly-installed orangery. Earlier this month I was contacted by the owner of a wonderful old property for sale near Okehampton, who loved my photography style and wanted some more arty, imaginative to add to the ones his estate agent had taken.
I spent a fantastic morning at the house, setting up cosy, atmospheric shots and was even more delighted to have his two charming rescue dogs and a whole bunch of horses and ponies to play with - oops, I mean to include in the photographs!🥰😉

Congratulations to Kim and Robert - the new Mr & Mrs Ibbitson!
I'm a sucker for a love story and, honestly, this was a huge, sparkly one! Kimberley and Robert were obviously meant to be together - it was written in the stars and from our very first meeting, when they were deciding if Sue's Mobile Photography was their perfect fit, I could tell their wedding was going to be so, so special! I'm not sure that I've ever seen such an emotional Best Man or Groom - just take a moment to look at those faces in today's first photo ... definitely one of my all time favourite images!

Just a quick post today, as I'm absolutely snowed under with editing and shoots at the moment - the highlight of this week is going to be capturing the wedding of Kimberley and Robert this Saturday at Trenython Manor - so looking forward to it!
Between Wedding trial shoots and a couple of commercial shoots, I've finally managed to create a little freebie thankyou set of special effects photos for Beth and Josh, which will now be added to their full Wedding Photograph set on a beautiful little personalised, boxed wooden usb stick.
