We are a husband and wife photography team based in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire. Between us we photograph newborns, families, weddings, family celebrations and commercial portraiture.

💜 Lavender Mini Sessions are back! 💜

We're so excited to be returning to the beautiful Mentley Farm Lavender for our annual mini sessions.

Lavender only blooms for a short time, making it the perfect backdrop for relaxed, natural family photos. Whether you're updating your family portraits, celebrating a milestone, bringing the grandparents along, or even including the dog, we'd love to capture some special summer memories for you.

✨ Evening sessions available – perfect if you're busy during the day and for making the most of that gorgeous golden light.

🌿 Saturday 18th July also coincides with the farm's Summer Celebration, with live music, artisan stalls, street food and a dog show. Your event entry is included with your photo session!

Ian took a weekend away from work to tick off one of the bucket list challenges he'd set himself.

On Sunday, he completed the Dart 10K in Devon – a 10km open water swim from just outside Totnes to Dartmouth, organised by Level Water A fantastic fundraising event that helps provide swimming lessons for disabled children. Huge thanks to the team for such a well organised event. Such a friendly atmosphere and a pleasure to be a part of.

Sadly, we weren't able to be there to cheer him on, but we certainly heard all about it once he was back on dry land! Unsurprisingly, he was a little wobbly-legged after swimming 10km in an impressive 2 hours 22 minutes (with a little help from the river current!).

What makes the result even more remarkable is that swimmers were set off in waves based on their predicted swim times, and Ian was in the very last wave to enter the river. Despite that, he finished 68th out of 468 swimmers!

An incredible achievement, myself and the girls are so proud of him. Well done, Ian! 👏🏊‍♂️💙

Huge thanks to those of you who came to our spring photo sessions in April, and to Emma & Stuart at Hammonds end farm for welcoming us back. We had such a lovely couple of weekends capturing couples and families - and of course a few four-legged family members, too.

🌿 We had a wonderful time capturing couples and families in the bluebells at the weekend. The bluebells are looking magical and there are a few spaces available this weekend.

🌿 The private bluebell wood at Hammonds End Farm, Harpenden is truly beautiful. A picture perfect setting for capturing relaxed images of couples, children, teens, grandparents and families.
