Passing on knowledge and helping younger generations take an active interest in photography is always rewarding. Earlier this autumn term I was asked to go in to parameters school to do a workshop on photography. Talking to generation so switched on with social media and mobile technologies made me a little nervy.

But like all workshops and learning you adapt to thier interests and viola hopefully they enjoyed.

1,2,3,5 once I caught a fish alive.

6,7,8,9,10 then I let I go again.

In this case. It ended up on my plate. The humble Bangladeshi fish, ilesh. Tast equates to that of mackerel. But the story for me goes beyond the taste and more about the memories it conjours up. My father used to visit the bazar on a Friday after prayers. And haggle his way through all the fish merchants. Come home and hand over the fresh fish wrapped in newsprint. An hours later my mother would have turned this into a culinary delight.
