2020, 2021, 2022... Third time lucky! The amount of hard work and personal touches that went into creating this absolutely stunning wedding day was amazing. This family are brimming with talent, and bringing all the different family trades together - Architects, Builders and Interior Designers, Jo + Tristan produced the most perfect wedding reception venue at her dad's house which was definitely worth waiting 3 years for!

Originally meant to have their 7 month old baby at the wedding initially planned to take place in 2020, instead they had their gorgeous 2-year-old boy Oscar to join them and share the celebrations with everyone!

Such a beautiful day - we so enjoyed capturing it

First time I've shot a wedding since wearing facemarks and social distancing was a thing... but this wasn't going to stop Connie + Aaron tying the knot and celebrating with their close friends and family. Such an honour to be able to capture anyone's wedding day, but this one felt extra special as of course it wasn't exactly what Connie and Aaron had envisaged their day to be at the outset.. but together with the help of their family and friends, they put together the most stunning reception venue in Aaron's parents garden! With all the uncertainty of the past 6 months, they waited it out, stuck to their guns and were determined to get married in 2020, and it was a beautiful happy day. What's more they get to celebrate twice, and plan to have another party when the time is right next year, and I'll be back to take more photos then. Have to say- I feel quite jealous of Connie getting to wear her beautiful wedding dress twice!! Congratulations Connie + Aaron, thank you so much for having me there to document this wonderful day

My friend Elly posted some amazing photos in this poppy field at the weekend, and I had to get in on the action this afternoon! Much to the disinterest of Daisy, but once we got Daddy leaping about behind me we managed to crack some smiles out of her!

This set makes a lovely floral sequel to our Bluebells photos of a few months ago.. and maybe in the summer we can add a third set with sunflowers :-)

One thing I have loved about lockdown is appreciating these beautiful spots on our doorstep, that are free to enter, a lot of which we had never been to before. You don't realise what you've got until its taken away right?

I love an old wedding photo. This one is particularly special as it’s George’s grandparents, Bob and Daisy. Our daughter Daisy’s namesake. They were married on the 5th May, 1945, 3 days before VE Day. They danced in the street on their honeymoon the night victory in Europe was declared. Today would have been their 75th Wedding Anniversary - how amazing ❤️

Well, I have to say, I needed this. This hint of normality (I'm well aware things are far from it) was very much needed for our family. Having been told by a friend that the guidance changed a few days ago to allow short drives to take your daily walk, I suggested to George that we go to our favourite local bluebell wood to take some portraits of the girls, something which is becoming an annual tradition. I really needed this slice of my old self back, it felt so good to be behind the camera, doing what I love, with the people I love, in a time where everything is so strange and uncertain. I needed that buzz of taking some great photos, and being excited to get home and edit them. I needed to feel like my professional self for an hour, in between being Mummy to these two amazing but very demanding beauties. One thing that can be said for this global crisis, is that I am really appreciating the beauty of nature, and seeing the bluebells is one of my absolute favourite moments of the year. It felt so special to take the girls there, and such a massive treat to get in the car as a family for the first time in a month! I am certain I will remember the feelings I felt on this day for the rest of my life, even more so because we have these gorgeous captures to remember the lockdown bluebells by

I know it's been said a thousand times, but, these really are strange times we are living through at the moment. The girls are at such lovely ages and I'm sad that our families, particularly grandparents, are missing so many milestones, particularly Delilah's. She's come so far this past month, she's started crawling (very quickly!) and she's pulling herself up and working out how to steady herself on those 2 feet. Daisy seems to be having a growth spurt, and eating us out of house and home (helpful during these times of limited shopping trips!!!!) and is just generally growing up so fast, some of the things she comes out with are unbelievable...

I decided to pull the proper camera out this morning as having been capturing every day on my phone, but I thought a proper photoshoot was overdue, so using Delilah's 9 month birthday as an excuse! So sad to have missed out on two photo sessions I should have been doing for some lovely clients in the past few weeks, but looking ahead and staying positive about when we can re-emerge and start making plans again. In the meantime, I'll share this snapshot of our girls on Good Friday morning
