Yesterday I watched the documentary with my favourite Peter Lindbergh. Actress Alicia Vikander was one of the models for the project. What she said, felt so familiar and resonated with me: ‘Good directors don’t talk very much, same thing with photographers. It’s not so much explanation going on, it’s giving someone the feel free enough to explore and find something’
Do you know the feeling - the answer is already within, but it has to be said in order to boost your confidence? I’m an observer by nature. Although introverts, as myself, have a lot to say in their minds, we very much keep it to ourselves. As a photographer, by seeking a deep connection with my families and women, I allow them to explore and find, first of all, themselves in a moment.

I heard this song in the morning and it’s stuck with me all day. It also reminded me of how much I believe in the meaning of its words. You see, the secret of happiness is not found in seeking more, but in ability to enjoy less. And I’m just like that in life and photography too.

I guess it’s a kind of a spontaneous get to know your photographer post or a big Hello to all new faces here. A warm welcome :)

What he will remember? - his father's supportive hands, the sense of security, knowing he'll be caught if he falls, time spent together laughing while fixing that flimsy wheel. He'll remember his presence, he'll remember his loving dad! 🤍

I love my mummy very much,
She's great to cuddle, soft to touch.
I like to watch her brush her hair,
And dance round in her underwear.
She helps me wipe my grubby nose,
And tickles me between my toes.
And even when I start to cry,
She wipes my tears until they're dry..

This extraction is from the loveliest book called ''I love my mummy' written by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Emma Dodd.
It was one of our favourites when Tim and Milana were little, a sweet, rhyming book about the special relationship between mother and child.

I still remember it by heart, it awakes the softest, most loving memories. Always brings smile to my face when it's needed most. Your children 🤍
