My first step to professional photographing and my biggest inspiration have been two small beings my son Oliver and my beautiful niece Michaela. My main role is to see and capture the natural beauty that is in each of us. It's best feeling to see the happy faces of parents proudly looking at pictures of their child. To see people satisfied is the greatest reward and motivation for me.

But what are you actually trying to capture?

A childhood?
Or a well-trained employee?

Because childhood is messy.
It's silly faces, picking flowers, getting distracted every five seconds, running off in the wrong direction and climbing all over Mum.

That's the stuff worth remembering.

So if your child spends the whole session being a child, don't panic.

We're probably getting the best photos.
