I ventured up to the homeland last weekend for the World Pipe Band Championships on Glasgow Green. I only captured a few images as the day was pretty grey and photography was a secondary reason for attending (I'm an "on again, off again" piper!).

Living on a narrow boat in a marina offers great opportunities for great shots.
This is my first attempt at focus stacking (4 shots), but movement of the moon has caused some anomalies.
But I like it. 😁

Sometimes you've just got to take advantage of what's right in front of you. Mine is the only boat on my jetty at the moment, so its turned into a popular resting spot for some of the geese in the marina.

Had a visit to Stratford Upon Avon in the sunshine on Friday with some fellow photographers. Wandering around the river got an eclectic collection of images.

As part of the work to keep remembrance moving with the "Waterways Wreath" we thought our would like to see this website showing the Royal Engineers in WWI operating in the waterways of northern Europe.
