Well it was this evening! I was lucky enough to spend some time with the lovely Fran from Fable and Base today in our teacher guise visiting The Pie Factory in preparation for our students’ end of year show.

It’s a beautiful space perfect for our talented creative animation, film, textile, photography, graphics and fine art students. Can’t wait x

My first wedding since September last year was amazing! I do love smaller intimate weddings and at this one, I felt like part of the family. I even left with a half-dozen duck eggs (which were fabulous scrambled for breakfast this morning!)

It's fantastic that our neo noir/Bladerunner inspired shoot has been featured on The Urban Wedding Company Ltd blog with such amazing creative city wedding inspiration!

I loved collaborating with these wonderful suppliers so much! It was the last shoot I did, and although I have taken some time away from the camera and my social media pages, I am planning and chatting behind the screen.

Something just a little bit different from us ...an intimate neo-noir styled wedding shoot with a nod to 'Bladerunner! A 1940s meets the 1980s with a Japanese influence (rather than Chinese).

This was such fun to plan and shoot. It gave us all the opportunity to experiment, to step outside our comfort zones and imagine a futuristic wedding in a post-apocalyptic world (sound familiar, anyone?!)

These are just a few amazing details to give you a flavour :

- A long black lace dress with a red chiffon jacket
- Vintage styling and details
- A fabric bouquet with trailing flowers
- A ramen bar on a 1950s Japanese cocktail cabinet
- Neon lighting
- A mannequin 'dressing room'
- A dark iced-tiered cake perfect for projecting images into
- A digital invitation
