After visiting this place twice, once in Winter and once in Spring its beauty definitely comes out more in the Sunlight. Just off the beaten track next to a Canal our entrance was yet another grassy verge we have to slide down to get into the site.

After seeing someone leave via the gate in the beginning we were confident we wouldn't be met with any other interfering parties on the inside.

The day started with an unsuccessful attempt to get into HF6, we proceeded on to Haut Furneau B. After scoping out the site by car the sheer magnitude of the site left myself and my co conspirator in excitement unparalled to any site we'd ever been to in the past.

After a short slide down a grassy verge we walked along a seemingly inactive railway trying to find our point of access.

luckily another cunning individual had made our experience getting in that much easier but bolt cutting open a nice ample hole in the fence and razor wire :-).

With a little bit more help we were under yet more razor wire and up some steps ready to walk alongside a conveyor belt housing suspended about 50 feet above ground, into the real adults playground.

Quickly deciding for my love of high stuff that I would immediately head for the stair case to the highest point we spent the next half an hour climbing spiral staircases suspended over 100 foot drops to get to the pinnacle.

These photos show only a sample of the size of Cockerill Sambre/Haut funeau B and honestly I never wanted to leave. We didn't have the luxury of time on our hands and had to make leave quickly so that we didn't struggle finding our way out of the King Midas'-esque maze we had entered.

Please feel free to ask any questions, I am more than happy to entertain.
